The new Cinemagraph Pro by Flixel a hybrid photography app previously created for Apple iOS, now available for Mac OS has reached rock-star status hitting #1 in the Mac App Store in more than 50 countries in the photography category including Canada, US, UK, Japan, Germany, France and China.
Price Drop from $199.99 to $14.99 until March 13th
With it being featured in the Mac App Store, Flixel has dropped the cost of the app to fire sale prices lowering it from $199.99 to $14.99, but only until March 13th 2014, at which time it will return to its regular price.
“It is important for us to educate people on the medium. One way of doing this is making the tool available to many at a lower price point for the duration of our Mac App Store feature,” says Philippe LeBlanc, Flixel’s co-founder and CEO.
Flixel Cinemagraph Pro for Mac allows users to intuitively and easily create cinemagraph images, a hybrid media form that combines the timeless quality of a photograph and elements of moving video.
The company says, the new software includes masking tools, seamless looping options and a wide range of filters and includes support for UHD (4K) resolution video capture. Creators can upload and share their living photos in high resolution to Flixel’s community as well as to a variety of social networks.

It also provides a seamless experience that auto-plays and auto-loops in all browsers and even works on mobile devices.
