MacGourmet Deluxe by Mariner Software is more than just a place to keep recipes. Any organizer or database manager can do that. This application, specifically for Mac OS allows you to take the recipes you have and organize them into lists and smart lists. You can categorize them in categories like, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free or “Great Grand Mother’s secret recipes.” The application also allows you to import or “clip” recipes from select sites and allows you to add critical preparation information after the fact. And if pairing your wine, beer and cheese is important to you, you can make notes along those lines. To really make the experience yours, you can also decide how you want to view your recipes by using themes, choosing your desired icon sizes and customizing the overall layout.

Say bye-bye to Starbucks on-line store

If you tried to stock up on your Starbucks beans, ground coffee, syrup or other assorted merchandise  from the company’s on-line store, I’m sure you quickly noticed that you were out of luck. In fact, you were likely welcomed with the message, “Store.Starbucks.ca is closed as of October 2, 2017. We hope each of our products has brightened your day and warmed your cup.”

By taking their on-line store off-line, Starbucks seems to be bucking the trend of and doing a complete 180, forcing consumers to look elsewhere on-line, head to their nearest Starbucks retail outlet or any retailer that carries the brand, to complete their purchase. [Read more…]

Netflix Canada being created with $500M for Canadian content creation
