There’s always someone looking for a last minute cool or novel gift, so I couldn’t resist adding three more to the holiday gift list, two of which are hot of the press. Now it may be too late for Santa to get them under the tree, so lets consider them early Boxing Week ideas. Either way, they’ll certainly be enjoyed.

Nano guitar amp allows you to play anywhere

If you find it hard to find a gift for that mobile musician, then chances are he or she doesn’t have one of these – the new iRig Nano Amp by IK Multimedia, an ultra-compact standalone amp for the times they need just a little amplification for practice or rehearsal and don’t have a lot of space.

It has a built-in 3″ speaker with a 3-watt amp powered by three standard AA batteries (included).  It has both a 1/4″ guitar input and speaker output along with separate volume and gain controls plus a bright sound enhancement switch. Review: PowerUP FPV: Live streaming paper airplane drone

right_side_2048X_grandeEvery kid at one time or another loved to fly paper airplanes. In fact in my youth I spent some time in the principal’s office just for that reason. Today it’s all about gadgets, cameras and drones. So would it surprise you to know that there’s a cool new product that incorporates all of those? Even better, how about a gadget that lets you see what the plane sees  as it flies? It’s called PowerUP FPV Paper Airplane VR Drone.

Think about it, putting a camera that can stream video on a paper airplane seems almost impossible, but then again didn’t the Chicago Cubs win the World Series? And what about the celebrity billionaire being elected President of the United States.

Michael KORS x FujiFilm INSTAX mini 70 camera revealed

Back in 2014 we had our first look at FujiFilm’s INSTAX point and shoot cameras that instantly output their own little credit card sized prints and there have been a few new models since. But FujiFilm has gone beyond funky functionality and made a bold fashion statement – announcing a partnership with Michael Kors and a co-branded limited edition of the INSTAX mini 70 instant film camera.
