While I don’t profess to be a gameaholic like some of my colleagues, the combination of Doctor Who, Lego and video games really piqued my curiosity. While Doctor Who has never before materialized into a Lego video game, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment recently unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con some of the details about Doctor Who in Lego Dimensions.
This latest creation merges the world of bricks and mortar with interactive console gameplay. To be more accurate, it’s Lego brick building. What’s really cool is that it will feature the 12th Doctor, Clara Oswald and Missy, voiced by actors Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman and Michelle Gomez. Read full post at CanoeTech Blog.


In the finale of Star Trek: The Next Generation the omnipotent character ”Q” says to Captain Jean-Luc Picard, “All good things must come to an end.” It’s true and times are different now and for those who have found solace in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 over the last 13 years, including the 40% of those Microsoft servers in Canada still running it, support for those using this platform will end on July 14, 2015.
Apple officially announced the 26th annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) would be held at San Francisco’s Moscone West, June 8-12, where developers will gather, “to learn about the future of iOS and OS X”. And while no specifics for any WWDC event are actually ever given out ahead of time, the image on the developer’s splash page and a repetition of history are often telltale signs of what’s to come.
