It’s starting to sound cliché that I’ve seen speakers in all different shapes and sizes but I have to admit I haven’t come across one like the Boombotix Boombot mini that’s shaped like a triangle and features a reinforced clip to boot. Designed to be used for someone on the go, it’s made of lightweight yet shockproof high-impact ABS plastic designed to withstand impacts of up to 3m. Also, it’s IPX 4 weatherproof so while it may not survive being totally immersed in water it should be okay while out running or biking in the rain or snow. Read full post at Canoe Tech Blog.

While people are still buying earbuds and headphones we’re starting to see many external portable speakers hitting the market, thanks in part to the ability to stream music wirelessly over Bluetooth. One company that makes a number of these and in all different shapes and sizes is Divoom. One of their latest models is the Divoom Airbeat-10 wireless bluetooth speaker, that with its funky little attachments you can attach it and take it anywhere.
If you’re looking for a gift for that someone special who seems to have everything, chances are that he or she doesn’t have the Yantouch Diamond+, a 3-in-1 mini entertainment system that’s a sound, light and a sleep/wake device all built-in to a desktop diamond-cut shaped globe. This latest model from the Taiwan based company is a new and much improved follow up to their previous Diamond II and Diamond 3 models.
