Although everything seems to be going wireless these days the onslaught of new devices seems to bring out the need for yet more practical USB charging stations. We’ve seen them in all shapes and sizes including those embedded into wall sockets. But British Columbia based Lomiko Technologies; a wholly owned subsidiary of Lomiko Metals Inc. is taking this a few steps further. They’ve announced they have recently filed two key patents for their prototype of the new Spider Charger, their forthcoming product that will allow for charging up to eight USB devices from a single in-wall electrical outlet.
