I had given up on furnace mount humidifiers a long time ago, after going through a few of them; they either seized up due to calcification or unevenly humidified rooms. Some rooms were poorly humidified while others had condensation buildup on the windows. I resorted to using a run-of-the-mill portable ultrasonic humidifier in the sleeping area and living room that I felt more or less did the job until I took the Dyson AM10 Humidifier for a test drive for a month.
