Last Christmas season, Behringer made headlines releasing iNuke Boom, the world’s loudest iPod dock ever screaming out a whopping 10,000 watts of power and of course an equally hefty price tag of $29,999. (Read about it here). Sadly, for the average consumer it was just a little too big and little too costly to have around the house. So Behringer, in their infinite wisdom, have unveiled theiNuke BOOM Junior, a 1:23 scale model of its powerful predecessor still packed with high-end components, a three-way active speaker design and at under $200, a little more affordable for you and me.

Apple has sold over  5 million*  iPhone 5 models in the first three days following its official release last Friday. It’s a hit! So, unless you had previously reserved one, if you’re looking at taking one home today, whether or not you’re looking for an unlocked model, chances are, you’ll likely walk away disappointed. But not all hope may be lost, especially if you’re willing to do a little legwork, perhaps make a few phone calls and have a little patience.

Apple rolls out iPhone 5, new iPods and EarPods

For some it was a long time coming, but earlier today at the Apple event in San Francisco, the company announced, as expected, the new and improved iPhone 5. They also took the opportunity to announce new iPods, updated earbuds (dubbed EarPods), as well as a new iTunes. It seems for the most part, the rumour mill had it right and in some cases surprisingly dead on!

Apple lineup refresh expected along with iPhone 5

With all the hints that we’ve seen thus far it seems that it’s likely a foregone conclusion that will see the highly anticipated iPhone 5 officially announced at the Apple event taking place tomorrow morning September 12th at the Yerba Buena Center in downtown San Francisco. But along with the expected iPhone will likely be a refresh to some of the rest of Apple’s product line. Of course the final proof won’t be until tomorrow morning or afternoon depending on where you live.

NBC to stream 2012 Olympics closing ceremony live online

Probably much to everyone’s surprise, some of you will be able to watch the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Summer Olympics streamed live over the Internet. According to a post on Mashable, the chairman of NBC Sports acknowledged that their less than spectacular handling of the opening ceremonies led to the change of heart.
