Apple rolls out iPhone 5, new iPods and EarPods

For some it was a long time coming, but earlier today at the Apple event in San Francisco, the company announced, as expected, the new and improved iPhone 5. They also took the opportunity to announce new iPods, updated earbuds (dubbed EarPods), as well as a new iTunes. It seems for the most part, the rumour mill had it right and in some cases surprisingly dead on!

With all the hints that we’ve seen thus far it seems that it’s likely a foregone conclusion that will see the highly anticipated iPhone 5 officially announced at the Apple event taking place tomorrow morning September 12th at the Yerba Buena Center in downtown San Francisco. But along with the expected iPhone will likely be a refresh to some of the rest of Apple’s product line. Of course the final proof won’t be until tomorrow morning or afternoon depending on where you live.
