Review: Belkin Lego Builder Cases for iPhone 5, iPod touch

If you’re a big fan of LEGO and have an iPhone 5 or iPod touch (5th generation) then you might be excited to know that Belkin has just released its LEGO Builder Case for iPhone 5. An official product created in partnership with LEGO, it’s both a protector case and a novelty item, featuring a built-in official LEGO base platform for having fun or putting your creativity to work while typically not using your phone.

The model for iPhone 5 is slim and form fitting with a sturdy plastic back and quasi-flexible easy to grip frame. It’s ruggedly designed to protect your iPhone from scratches or against accidental drops. There’s no protection for the bottom edge or front face, so you’ll need another option for that. However the case’s wrap around design does leave the outer shell with a raised edge. So when it’s laying face down, your iPhone is slightly raised and the glass is not touching whatever surface it’s on.

Focus on the message, not the medium, when public speaking

Got butterflies? Then focus on the information you want to convey rather than on yourself

EDMONTON, AB, Aug 27, 2013/ Troy Media/ – Speaking to employees, vendors, customers or even the general public is not easy. In fact, public speaking can cause havoc to our systems.

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld once said. “According to most studies, people’s number one fear is public speaking. Number two is death. Death is number two . . . this means to the average person, if you go to a funeral, you’re better off in the casket than doing the eulogy.”

Scary, isn’t it? When speaking publicly, we lack confidence; we feel our stomachs churning, chests thumping and hearts fluttering like it’s the end of the world.

Although there are many remedies for curing the butterfly jitters, one stands out above the rest: “Focus on the message and not the medium”.

First iMac originally shipped 15 years ago today

Announced three months earlier on May 6^th, the iMac was the first of many revolutionary products to follow under Steve Jobs’ reign, since his return to Apple in late 1997.
