Depending on where you live, you know how dry it can get indoors, particularly during the cold weather where besides dry skin, many people may exhibit chapped lips, sinus issues and a nightmare for some allergy sufferers. I had given up on furnace mount humidifiers a long time ago, after going through a few of them; they either seized up due to calcification or unevenly humidified rooms. Some rooms were poorly humidified while others had condensation buildup on the windows.
