Netflix Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Freshly Brewed for 2019

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Season 11: Freshly Brewed – Eddie Murphy

Get your dose of Seinfeld’s Classic Cars and Comedy– Season 11 streaming July 19th.

If you still can’t get enough of Jerry Seinfeld and you love classic cars, you’ll be happy to hear that his comedic on-the-road talkshow Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is new and freshly brewed for 2019 and will be back this month on Netflix for Season 11.

For those unfamiliar with the show, in a nutshell, it’s a unique styled talkshow featuring Comedian and Actor Jerry Seinfeld who drives around and has coffee, typically with other comedians, in some amazing classic and vintage vehicles. You’ll hear some frank conversations and banter, incredible stories and you will laugh – a lot.

Season 10 ended in high gear, with Heere’s Jerry! referring to none other than the legendary King-of-Comedy himself, Jerry Lewis. The show took place in Las Vegas with Jerry and Jerry riding around in a 1966 Jaguar e-type convertible and stopping for a bite at one of Lewis’ favourite hangouts the Omelet House. What’s also special about this episode is that this show was one of Lewis’ last public performances. In fact the show was released posthumously as Lewis, 91, sadly passed away a few months after the taping before the shows official release.

For the upcoming Season 11, as the show’s trailer reveals, we’ll see more classic cars and some two-wheeled beauties. Cars featured in the past range from a 1952 Volkswagen Beetle in the Season 1 Premiere with Larry Davis to his ride with Jim Carrey in a 1976 Lamborghini Countach.

The star-studded comedic line-up for the upcoming season is sure to keep us binging and belly-laughing and should not disappoint. This season’s celebrity guests include: Eddie Murphy, Seth Rogen, Ricky Gervais, Matthew Broderick, Jamie Foxx, Sebastian Maniscalco, Martin Short, Mario Joyner, Melissa Villaseñor, Bridget Everett, and Barry Marder. A few names, I admit, I’ll have to get to know.

With respect to guests, I say they are typically comedians. In the 2015 Season 7 opener, Just Tell Him You’re The President.  Jerry drove around with former U.S. President Barack Obama in a 1963 Chevy Corvette Stingray. Perhaps they made an exception for Mr. President. Obama must’ve had some clout. He somehow managed to convince Jerry and got himself behind the wheel, although the car never did make it off the grounds of the White House.

To get your dose of classic cars and comedy, you can catch Season 11 of Seinfeld’s roving road-show, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, streaming on Netflix starting July 19th. Previous seasons of the series are also still available.
