Uber Canada offering 50% off round trips to vote

Discounts of up to $5 off each trip

If getting to the polls is a reason not to get out and vote, Uber Canada is reaching out to help. As part of the company’s commitment to get people out to the polls, they’re offering discounts to riders. The discounts apply to on roundtrips to and from their local voting stations of up to 50%, up to five dollars off per trip, not including tips.

“Every vote counts so we want to help reduce any transportation barriers,” said Matthew Price, General Manager of Uber Canada. “Uber is uniquely positioned to help drive the vote, so we’re doing our part to support Canadians coast to coast with a safe and reliable ride to cast their vote.”

The offer is valid only on September 20, 2021 on up to two trips on UberX, UberXL and Uber Green trips. The trips must be taken between 7:30 a.m. an 10:00 p.m. Eastern time or typically while the polls are open in your home province.

To redeem the discount, apply the promo code VOTE2021 in the Wallet section of the app before requesting your ride to the polls.
