iPad 4 given a new lease on life

Greg-Gazin-Senior-Editor EDMONTON, AB, Mar 18, 2014/ Troy Media/ – When Apple introduced the iPad Air in November 2013 it discontinued the fourth generation iPad but retained the iPad 2 which was originally introduced three years earlier as their entry level full sized tablet. Well it seems that the iPad 4 or appropriately called iPad with Retina display has been given a new lease on life as the iPad 2 is put out to pasture.

The good news is that someone had the ingenuity to design a pair of snap on clips, that when attached to your Apple EarPods, create a nice comfortable and solid custom fit.

Who would have thought, when a German engineer was out in his driveway routinely brushing off the snow, it would ultimately lead to discovering technology behind the latest plaque-fighting toothbrush?

Well, that’s exactly what happened to Peter, an Oral-B engineer at Braun.

“As he brushed away the snow he noticed that a layer of snow still remained. So he picked the brush up bashed the brush into the snow to break it up and swept it away again,” explains Dr. Paul Warren P&G Director, Global Professional and Scientific Relations.

But will the design guru behind the iMac, iPhone and iPad be consulted in the design process of the “iStamp”?

EDMONTON, AB, Feb 22, 2014/ Troy Media/ – If you head to a United Stated Postal Service (USPS) outlet some time next year, you should be able to pick up a commemorative postage stamp featuring the late former CEO and co-founder of Apple Computer Steve Jobs.

Jobs’ name was included amongst a list in a document of approved subjects for future stamps posted on-line by The Washington Post in January and issued by the U.S. Postmaster General Citizens’ Stamp Advisory Committee.

The list covers the years 2014 to 2016. Some of the stamps are designated as approved for Reprint, Rate Change or as Collectible stamps. Jobs is listed under “collectibles” for 2015.

iTunes Festival to hit SXSW for five amazing nights

This year’s SXSW will feature the first iTunes Festival in the US. It will take place from March 11th to 15th at ACL Live at the Moody Theater, home of Austin City Limits.

The music festival’s US debut will run for five nights and like all the previous iTunes Festivals, it will feature an incredible lineup of chart-topping performers including Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Pitbull, Keith Urban, ZEDD, Willie Nelson and others still to be announced. No need to wait for recall letter from Toyota or GM
