Apple has recently unveiled its first update to Apple iOS 5 since it rolled out the game changing new iOS a little over a month ago. The software update, version 5.0.1, contains a series of improvements and other bug fixes including:
– Bugs affecting battery life,
– Bugs affecting Documents in the Cloud,
– Improved voice recognition for users using dictation (Australia only),
– Adding multitasking gestures for iPad (original model).

Good news for GarageBand lovers. Apple has rolled out version 1.1 that features a number of welcomed enhancements, but best of all, GarageBand is now a universal app, which means that you can now run it on your compatible iPhone or iPod touch as well as your iPad.
