New Spider Holster Tripod plates keep your camera secure

Spider Holster Tether Plate

Last year we had a look at the SpiderLight Holster for your camera – a two-piece plate and holster system that allows you to carry your camera at arms length and get quick access to it without the need for a strap. However, we often want to use our cameras on a tripod, so Spider Holster has come up with three new Tripod adapter plates that allows you to secure you camera to your tripod but to also move from your holster to your tripod and back quickly and securely.

The three new models are the SpiderPro Tether Plate is an adopter plate that protects your tether cable and camera port by locking the cable to your camera. It helps eliminate the risk of your cable pulling out and damaging your camera.

Both SpiderPro AS and the SpiderPro AS-RC2 is compatible with and easily attaches to both the SpiderPro or the SpiderLight Plate and mounts to the body of your camera.  The AS model works with all Arca-Swiss quick release heads and the AS-RC2 as the model number suggests works with both the Arca-Swiss and the Manfrotto RC2 style quick release heads.

At only $25 US, these plates are very inexpensive, and a great gift idea for someone who has already has the Spider Holster. If they don’t, check out our review and perhaps get them one too.  You can get them directly from Spider Holster. On their site right is a coupon offer giving you 20% off your entire order.
