Apple iOS 5.0.1 update gets mixed welcome

Apple has recently unveiled its first update to Apple iOS 5 since it rolled out the game changing new iOS a little over a month ago. The software update, version 5.0.1, contains a series of improvements and other bug fixes including:

–  Bugs affecting battery life,

–  Bugs affecting Documents in the Cloud,

–  Improved voice recognition for users using dictation (Australia only),

–  Adding multitasking gestures for iPad (original model).

No iPhone 5, but iPhone 4S here October 14th

But when the dust settled, a new iPhone emerged–the iPhone 4S.

Let’s talk iPhone – Apple special Event, October 4th


When Apple announced their special fall event, there was little additional information given. Now that’s typical of

letstalkiphoneApple where the cat is never let out of the bag ahead of time. The shroud of secrecy certainly makes for ongoing wild speculation and the plethora of predictions continue to keep the rumour mills churning feverishly. I still think it’s pretty clever how they manage to do that every time and create a buzz- but I digress.
