While Video becomes popular, Audio is still alive and well. One of the reasons is the availability MP3, podcasts and the ease editing.
Audio Recorders are also getting more sophisticated, powerful and with incredible capabilities that before would require a studio and a computer.
I like to use car analogies for Recorders:

Mike slowly closes his eyes still hearing Lenny yammering on and dozes off..
Who have you selected as your project manager? A voice is heard from a far.
Who have you selected as your project manager? The voice gets louder.
Mike: Ah – Ah, who is it?
Voice: What’s going on – Michael?
Mike: Who is this?
Voice: TRUMP! Lenny Trump! Do you want to be the next Apprentice?
Mike: Apprentice? I’ve got finals later today?
Trump: Finals? Yes, finals. Well there are two of you left. We need a business plan by 2 pm this afternoon.
Mike is in a drowsy state
Trump: You know what a project manager does, don’t you?
Mike: Of course, a Project Manager is like a jack-of-all-trades and oversees the successful planning implementation and execution of a project.
Trump: Ok. Now, name 3 of the many things a project manager can do?
Mike: Define the Scope, Develop a Budget, Create a Schedule and Manage Risks
Lenny Trump: That was 4, I asked for 3.
Mike: Sorry Mr. Trump
Trump: No! Worries young master – like money, more is always better. And I like money – and beautiful women.

Mike: Ah!

Another great opportunity to show gadgets to CityTV Breakfast Television Viewing Audience. What a blast it was!. Incredible interview by Wendy Sandwith – it was certainly an honour to meet her for the first time – she’s pretty enthusiastic about gadgets and it made for a great segment! Lots of Fun! Incredible crew!
Four minutes is not enough time to talk in detail about all the gadgets, so in case you want to know more – here it is.
We looked at the QuikPod and the QuikPod DSLR monopod like gadgets to allow you to take photos of yourself and more. We also looked at the Mophie Juice Pack and the Tekkeon MP1200 Cases for iPod/iPhone that double as a spare battery (Reviewed at G4 Tech TV Canada) We also looked at the Ecosol PowerStick – Made in Canada ( review at Canoe Technology). Spare power in a tiny stick to power or recharge various handheld devices. The Timex Ironman iPod Edition allows you to attach a dongle or thingamabob – as Wendy calls it, to your iPod and control it from the Timex Watch. To demonstrate these gadgets, we used the Apple iPod Touch & iPod Video.
