Apple’s famous 1984 Super Bowl commercial aired 30 years ago today or did it?

And for football fans it will be remembered as the day the AFC’s Los Angeles Raiders lambasted the NFC’s Washington Redskins by a score of 38-9 in front of a massive crowd of 70,000+ at Tampa Stadium. For gadget geeks like me it was the day that Apple formally launched their iconic Super Bowl commercial “1984″.

CES 2014: E-Go lets you skateboard to the next frontier

As a kid growing up I relied heavily on bicycles and roller-skates but when it came to things like skateboards, I didn’t feel like I had the combined agility and leg power needed to take me on longer distances. Some products will be outright wonders, others a refresh of existing products and some perhaps in a concept state that we may see this year, next year or not at all.
