While fun, suspense, excitement and challenge as well as awesome graphics and animation, is all part of a great gaming experience, one other important element of a great game is the sound. And the more you’re immersed in it the better it is. But not everyone has the luxury of having a huge surround-sound home theatre system to crank up and even if you do, the last thing you want are your kids, your spouse and your neighbours hearing gunshots in the wee hours of the morning.
Epsilon hacked! Am I still being phished?
So I received an email, supposedly from BestBuy.ca, an excerpt shown above, alerting me to the fact that my name and e-mail address have been exposed by “unauthorized entry” into their system. It’s not Best Buy’s system, but rather Epsilon’s, a company who sends out e-mail on Best Buy’s behalf.

Apple turns 35 today
Apple turns 35 today. Yes, only 35 and that’s no April fools joke. The incredible and continuing journey began on April 1st, 1976 in of all places, Steve Jobs’ garage in Cupertino California. The actual corporation we know today as Apple Inc., was officially incorporated back in 1977 as Apple Computer Inc.
Apple’s WWDC 2011 Rock-Star event sold out
Each year, 5000+ Apple developers make the pilgrimage to the five-day Apple Worldwide Developers Conference at the Moscone West in San Francisco. It’s a true geek-week, filled with over 100 technical sessions many digging deep down right to the code level. But you’d think that this event was a rock concert with the $1,599 US tickets for the June 6-10 event, open only to registered Apple developers, selling out in less than a day.

TROY MEDIA, TORONTO, ON, Mar. 25, 2011/ Troy Media/- There seems to be no end in sight for rising commodity prices. With a barrel of oil once again skyrocketing north of $100 and gold setting new records on its way to $1500 per ounce, it won’t be long before we really start seeing significant price increases in the staples we buy every day.
