Timely solution for families at home on lockdown

With many people at home on lockdown there’s probably a whole lot more Netflix binging going on. For some, it may not be a bad thing. It’s finally giving folks a guilt-free opportunity to finally binge on Ozark Series 3 or catch-up on that most talked about, love-it or hate-it new series, Tiger King.

For parents it creates issues around managing TV time.

While Mom and Dad are working from home, the kids could be catching the latest episodes of Boss Baby. They could also learn life lessons from Mr. Miyagi from the classic Karate Kid but you may not be so inclined to let them feast their eyes on the provocative true-crime docuseries and the story of the mayhem and madness surrounding Joe Exotic and his tigers.

Netflix Canada being created with $500M for Canadian content creation

As a Canadian, if you enjoy Netflix’s original programming, then you might be really happy to hear that Minister of Canadian Heritage and Netflix have announced an agreement that will see Netflix investing at least half a billion (Canadian) dollars in original Canadian productions over the next five years and part of that agreement will include creating a new entity. Netflix adds video previews to TV interface

Scrolling through Netflix selections and reading the descriptions can sometimes be extremely time-consuming and often not very helpful, so Netflix has decided to enhance the user’s search experience. Today, they announced a new TV interface, which adds video previews alongside the title’s description.

Will you binge watch House of Cards Season 3?

If you are a big fan of House of Cards on Netflix, I’m sure you’re excited that Season 3 is now hot off the press. I wonder, how many of you have already put aside all those important things that you were supposed to in favour binge-watching the entire season of 13 episodes?

I admit that so far, I’ve only watched Season 3 Episode 1 – or Chapter 27 is it’s referred to. I made myself a promise not to repeat what I did last for Season 2 after I binged on Season 1. It started off nice and slow; I controlled the urge and watched the first three episodes over a period of a little over two weeks. Then I couldn’t help myself. Roku 3 streaming media player finally hits Canada

Its newest design shifts away from the cylindrical likeness of the off-round hockey puck of its predecessor and of the Apple TV, with slimmer lines, rounder edges and a heavy glossy black finish.
