Will House of Cards be the same? Final season coming up Nov 2

How many of you binge watched House of Cards? I know I did – more or less over a week or two. Frank Underwood seemed to be the guy everyone loved to hate. Of course with all the allegations against Kevin Spacey it was inevitable that he would not be in the upcoming season of House of Cards. In fact some probably wondered if the series would continue – but apparently it is for one more go around. The final season is out on Netflix November 2.

At the end of the last season, it was obvious that Claire was vying for the top job – but now knowing that Frank won’t be in the picture and Claire’s rise seems somewhat inevitable – will the series be the same?  Will the show be the same without Underwood’s character?

Well I guess it remains to be seen. Netflix offered up a little teaser showing Claire at Frank’s grave – so it seems that some reigns are already known.

Here’s the official sneak peek trailer:

Does Wade Wilson a.k.a Deadpool work 9 to 5? (Video)

The super duo, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, return with the sequel to the Marvel Comics hit, Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin and Brianna Hildebrand return to star alongside Josh Brolin, Julian Dennison, Zazie Beetz, T.J. Miller and Jack Kesy in this enjoyably obnoxious sequel.

If you haven’t yet seen Deadpool 2 in theatres, the story line for the sequel is that you favourite foul-mouthed mutant mercenary Wade Wilson (a.k.a Deadpool), creates the X-Force team of fellow mutant rogues to protect a young lad with supernatural abilities from the brutal, time-traveling cyborg, Cable.

Canadians may particularly enjoy the sequel because it’s full of Canadian jokes and references. In fact those of you who attended the Toastmasters International Convention in Vancouver last summer, you may have seen some film crews there as Deadpool 2 was filmed in various location including downtown, near the convention centre and even in front of our hotel – of course depending on where you’re staying. Daily flooding of the e-mail inbox is often a necessary email. Some that arrive are obviously “junk” or SPAM. Watch Live: Google Pixel 2 coming October 4th?

Google - Oct 4, 2017

A suspicious email arrives in my inbox with the subject line, “Ok Google, how many days until Oct 4?” An animated GIF pops up on the screen with the showing the same question, then a reply, “20 days.” At first I thought it was suspicious especially since it was fairly non-descript email. It had short links and a PNG attachment and no signature line. After further investigation, I determined it was legit and realized it was a teaser for some new stuff coming from Google.

Pardon my suspiciousness – my scam and phasing radar is always on high. [Read more…]

GT_Hover_GT8_Hoverboard_Camo_with_Jet_Black_Wheels_Front_1024x1024

I can honestly say I’ve never fallen off a hoverboard, but then again, I only took one for a test drive once and someone was holding me for part of the way and when I finally decided to go solo I barely put the pedal to the metal. Now should I have truly revved it up, for lack of a better term, my feet and the hoverboard would surely have parted ways.  Read more…at Canoe Tech Blog.
